Ecilak started as a group chat and a spreadsheet — four people who kept screenshotting each other the same products, then reading the ingredient list and realising the good stuff was buried at the bottom. So we made our own, with it near the top.
Four rules we don’t break
Clinical doses only
If the study used 10%, our bottle has 10%. No trace of an active dropped in so it can headline an ingredient list that's mostly water and fragrance.
Short ingredient lists
Most formulas are under fifteen ingredients. Fewer things to react to, easier to work out what's actually helping — or not.
Small batches, dated
We make a few thousand units at a time and print the batch date on the box. Nothing sits in a warehouse for two years oxidising before it reaches you.
Tested on reactive skin
Every formula goes through a panel that includes rosacea-prone, eczema-prone and 'everything stings' skin before it ships. Priced for people still figuring the rent out.
Same idea, fuller shelf
We started with the everyday basics people get most wrong. Now the range covers the routine — face wash, pore strips, under-eye care, tan removal and the grooming bits in between.
Next up: refill pouches for the cleansers, a body range, and a proper ingredient glossary so “what does this even do” stops being a Google away.
